DJ Katch Turns D'banj's "Oliver Twist" Into a Club Weapon: Official Remix Out Now via Cinq Music!

More than a decade after it took Afrobeats from Lagos to the UK charts and dance floors around the world, D'banj's "Oliver Twist" is back in a new form. DJ Katch has reworked the anthem into a high-energy club remix, out now on all major streaming platforms via Cinq Music.

‍

The remix didn't start as a commission. Katch first built it as a bootleg for his own DJ sets, where it quickly became a crowd favourite. When the edit reached D'banj through Cinq's A&R team, the Nigerian superstar loved what he heard, and the bootleg was developed into an official remix.

‍

DJ Katch pairs it with punchy, festival-ready production built for big rooms and peak-time moments. The release comes in two versions. The Main Mix is for streaming and radio, and the Extended Mix is made for DJs. Both are available across all DSPs, so DJs can play the extended version straight from their streaming-connected setups.

‍

The remix connects two worlds: one of Afrobeats' defining hits and the European club sound DJ Katch has championed for years. It's a natural fit for club sets, festivals and social content alike.+
